superbowlThe Super Bowl is the kind of event that brings people together from all parts of the country. Whether your team made it to the big game or whether you even root for a particular team, you will likely join millions of people for this great tradition.

As you decide where to watch the big game, you should consider your real reasons for watching the game in the first place. Are you rooting strongly for one team over another? Are you the biggest Bruno Mars fan around? Is it the commercials that you’re most excited about?

Regardless of your stake in The Game, we have compiled a list of the best places in DC for you to enjoy this Sunday’s Super Bowl:

  • Where to Watch: Broncos Fans

Penn Quarter Sports Tavern and Cleveland Park Bar and Grill are two unofficial Broncos bars that are hosting watch events for the game. Both are known for a great atmosphere and delicious appetizers, you can’t go wrong with either choice.

  • Where to Watch: Seahawks Fans

If you want to be surrounded by Seahawks fans and feel like you are back in Seattle, you should head to Hamilton’s Bar and Grill for the game. Seahawks Meetup is hosting a watch party and promising to have the largest section of Seahawks fans in attendance.

  •  Where to Watch: Competitive but Neutral Fan

You were hoping the Redskins would make it this year, but even though they didn’t, you’re still excited for the championship action. Fortunately, DC is home to many great sports bars like Redline near Chinatown which has over 40 flat screen TV’s and delicious food.

Another great choice is Buffalo Billiards in Dupont Circle. With shuffle board, mini basketball, and pool, (as well as a tasty Buffalo Chicken Dip) you can use your competitive spirit to win your own game.

  •  Where to Watch: Bruno Mars Fans and Foodies

If you are really into the game for the Bruno Mars half-time show and the commercials, watching from the comfort of your own home probably makes the most sense. With hundreds of dip recipes and ways to create a football stadium out of food, a DIY Super Bowl party is perfect for you.

No matter where you choose to watch this year’s super bowl and who you are cheering for, I think we can all agree on one thing: seven layer dip.
