District GPS is a blog for students who want to get ahead as they live, learn and intern in Washington, DC. It is written by the U.S. Programs staff of the Fund for American Studies, a non-profit organization that hosts one of DC’s top academic internship programs for college students in partnership with George Mason University each spring, summer and fall. A program for first and second year law students is also held each summer.
For over 40 years, the organization has been educating student leaders in the nation’s capital with comprehensive Institutes that offer courses for credit, professional experience through internships and exclusive special events.
